Glamping Cabin Family Camping

Registration is now open. Space is very limited!

The Spring Cabin Camping trip tradition for Village Home Families is back, with some alterations. We are skipping the communal meals in the meeting hall, but are still going to have plenty of fun!

Stub Stewart is only a few miles down the road, and it has some super cool cabins tucked into a loop together. In March, it is pretty chilly up there, but there are plenty of trails to walk or bike on.

Every family has their own cabin (with heat and electricity). Cabins sleep 5 (bunk with double-bed bottom and a twin top, plus a futon that folds out to a queen).  There is a communal bathroom with hot water showers. Just bring your bedding and cooking gear and get ready to have a weekend of family fun with other VH families. There are two PET OK cabins available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please note, there is a $20 additional charge ($10/night) for these cabins.

About Stub Stewart: Just 33 miles west of Portland, the park offers camping, picnicking, disc golf, horseback riding, mountain biking (cross-country and freeride), a fenced off-leash dog area, hiking, orienteering course, and Discovery Depot Visitor Center. Over 20 miles of natural surface trails within the park provide access to the paved 21- mile Banks-Vernonia State Trail.

Check-in time is 4pm, early check-in is not permitted for Cabins. Check-out is 1pm. If you have more than one vehicle, you must purchase an additional vehicle pass on site.

Cost: $120 for two nights
