Village Home Family Camping is the highlight of the year for VH families with kids of all ages. Come and enjoy nature and get to know other VH families while you experience summer on the Oregon coast. The beach with broad, sandy beaches is a short walk across the dunes from the campground, and within walking distance to the Hatfield Marine Science Center. South Beach State Park is conveniently located 2 miles south of Newport. Activities around the park include Junior Ranger programs, naturalist programs, playgrounds, kayaking, biking, hiking, fishing, crabbing, boating, windsurfing, and beachcombing.
