• Village Home Leaves Public Funding

  
  On May 19, 2005, the Parent Executive Board of Village Home unanimously voted to discontinue participation in public funding. This came after a series of events involving Village Home's district partners and the area ESD that led the board to conclude that it would be impossible to maintain the mission and purpose of the organization within the context of the district's demands. We are sorry that the area districts, unlike other districts around the state, fail to see the value of offering supplementary programming in support of homeschooled students. Village Home is in the process of re-organizing as a private tuition program, and continues to offer high-quality, exciting courses and field trips in the Fall of 2005.
