One of the main features of our robot that distinguishes it from
others is the sensor array on the front. The sensor array is made up
of two light sensors and two bump sensors on either side of the robot.
The bump sensors have are connected across the front of the robot by
an axel, and have a special myblock to tell whether one, either, or
both of them are pressed. The light sensors also have a unique myblock
which allows them to align the robot to dark areas of the mat. Another
interesting feature of our robot is the modular attachment port. This
allows us to design all of our attachments on an attachment base that
meshes perfectly with the attachment gears. The attachment motor has
been geared down to give all our attachments greater power.
