NANOFLOWERS

Nanoflowers are blossoms of silicon and carbon, that grow almost instantly. They are made by flowing methane gas over a tiny droplet of the metal gallium, forming tiny wires of silicon and carbon. The flowers act like springs. This repels water so well, that a droplet of water bounces like a beach ball on a surface covered in nanoflowers. Nanoflowers coat the Glacier's windshield to repel water which eliminates the need for windshield wipers.
