LED LIGHTS
Current technology is not as efficient as we would like. In fact, 95% of electricity put into light bulbs comes out in heat. Only 5% gets used in light. Quantum Dot L.E.D. lights are used for the Glacier's interior and exterior lighting. Our L.E.D. lights have quantum dots used as a coating on light emitting diodes, providing us with efficient white lights. We use the Quantum Dot L.E.D. light because instead of giving off heat as light bulbs today do, it uses almost 100% of it’s energy for making light. We can save 20 to 30 watts of electricity using Quantum Dot L.E.D. lights.
