The Power Puzzle project requires us to:
- Choose a building in our community and evaluate its energy use.
- Talk to experts and propose solutions to reduce consumption or move toward alternative energies.
- Share the changes for the building with the community.
Hi, we are team 32, The Fire Breathing Rubber Duckies. We
are a group of girls (ages 8-13) who love lego robotics. We compete in Lego Robotics competitions. Every year, the competition
has a different theme. This year's theme is "Power Puzzle". During the competition
there are four judging categories: project presentation, technical judging,
robotic challenge, and teamwork.
ORTOP is the host of the Robotics Tournaments
that are held in Oregon. ORTOP uses the FLL program to get kids learning about
math and science in a fun way. ORTOP is a program run almost entirely by volunteers. FLL makes all of the
competitions happen. They send the lego kits and the "mat" for the year. They
also decide the yearly topic, the rules, and the way the competitions work.
