Individualized learning is more than a buzzword at Village Home. We understand that every person is a unique learner with their own learning style and preferences. One-on-one tutoring is the ultimate in personalized learning, allowing the learner to move at their own pace through material, in a way that is relevant to them. So, whether you want to deepen understanding in a subject, or, manage to catch up in areas, one-on-one tutoring can be the most cost-effective and efficient way to do so.
The Tutors
Village Home hires tutors who are also classroom teachers at Village Home, so they have plenty of experience guiding various types of learners. From our bank of tutors, we can cover almost all subject areas and grade levels. All tutors are background checked, and will meet you at either of our campuses, or at another mutually-agreed upon location
About Tutoring Packages at Village Home
You may purchase tutoring sessions in packs of one, five, or ten one-hour segments. Based on your needs and preferences, we will assign a tutor to you. The tutor will contact you within 24 hours to schedule an appointment at a mutually agreed upon time. We recommend scheduling your tutoring sessions with your tutor well in advance to insure availability. Possible locations include: Village Home main campus, a public library, or a public coffee shop. If you and the tutor are unable to find a mutually acceptable time, you may ask to be assigned to a different tutor. Or, if you feel your tutor is not a suitable match, please contact the office and we will help identify another tutor.

Refund and Cancellation Policy
Tutoring packages must be paid in full at time of registration. There are no refunds for tutoring sessions delivered. Tutoring packages expire at the end of the current academic year, June 30, and there are no refunds for expired hours. You are required to give your tutor 24-hour notice of cancellation. If you fail to give notification and miss an
appointment, you forfeit that session.
