Welcome to the marketplace of Agrabah, where we’re about to begin the fantastic tale of the street rat who became a prince. This stage adaptation of the Disney film specifically for younger performers features hit songs including “Friend Like Me,” “Prince Ali,” and “A Whole New World.” Aladdin, Jasmine, Jafar, Iago, and the Genie battle for power and possession of the lamp. Get out your magic carpet and get ready for this enchanting theatrical ride!

OPEN TO STUDENT PERFORMERS AGES 10 TO 15 ONLY. Everyone who signs up gets a role.

Auditions (to determine roles)
Monday, Sept. 20, 1:00 – 3:00
Rehearsal times will vary depending on the role. In general, rehearsals will be Mondays between 1:00 and 5:00, and some Tuesdays between 3:30 – 5:00. Show week will have extra rehearsals. All meetings and rehearsals will be on the main campus in Beaverton.

1. All participants are required to sell 5 tickets to the show.
2. Participant Fee includes all rehearsals and direction, sets, props, & most costuming for stage roles (participants may provide some basic costumes from home.)
3. If you are interesting in working behind-the-scenes (backstage, lights, sets) please contact lori.walker@villagehome.org for more information. There are some student stage-worker positions available.
4. Parents are needed to assist with some aspects of production including assisting with transporting props and sets to the venue. |
