ART404 Nature Illustrations

Type of Offering: Class
Campus: Beaverton
Description: Using fine point technical pens, learn the fine art of illustration. This is not a drawing class. In illustration you will learn how to illustrate each scale, feather, or hair. You will learn the skill of really examining what different textures nature possesses and then how to illustrate what you see. Illustrations of this nature are professional and take time.
You will be surprised how well you can illustrate with simple instructions on how to perform the skills necessary to create a good textbook quality illustration. We will start with black ink and then progress to a full color illustration.
All skills learned also apply to medical illustration.
Important Notes: Bring all illustration supplies to each class.
