Description: Collage is a simple, beautiful way of making art that's accessible to everyone. Come and explore techniques and ideas for creating artist trading cards, altered books, visual journals, and other unique works of art. Allow yourself the gift of some creative refueling in the midst of your busy day. Participants will be encouraged to bring material to include in their collage work such as postcards, photos, stamps, lovely paper, receipts. ticket stubs, labels... once you start looking you'll find lots of material in your daily life!
Important Notes: It might get messy. Don't wear silk!

About the Instructor: Melisa Crosby

Melisa Crosby is both a professional second language classroom teacher and a mother who has been home educating her children for 15 years. Melisa believes wholeheartedly in the value of making things and has spent much of her adult life learning a variety of practical and beautiful crafts and enthusiastically sharing those skills with anyone who shows even the slightest interest.
