ART213 Digital Photography

Description: Explore the possibilities of photographic arts. The class will cover digital camera settings, and basic photo organization and editing. Each week we will cover a specific discipline in photography and its history, such as portraiture, landscape, documentary, macro etc. Students will be required to do an assignment every week and we will critique it the following week. We will also cover printing and matting for presentation.
Important Notes: Bring a digital camera each week.

Prerequisite: This is a beginning photo class, all skill levels are welcome. A digital camera is strongly recommended. If shooting with film the student must be able to have the film developed and digitally scanned for each week's assignment.
