About the Instructor: Lisa Freeman

Lisa is a writer and artist living with her two boys - 9 and 12. She has a bachelor's degree in marketing and graphic design from Portland State University, and takes an occasional class from PCC or MIT OpenCourseWare.

She has taught children\'s art classes and has collaborated with other authors on a number of self-published art books and agency-published how-to books. Independently, she has studied the art of ancient bookbinding and illuminated manuscripts. To say she loves art and books and the art of books would be a grave understatement.
