ART109 A Different Kind of Art

Description: A Different Kind of Art class is ideal for kids who don't function well with a lot of structure to their art projects. Each day will feature a main art idea with a variety of ways for kids to express themselves in that art form. We will do giant floor painting, bubble imprints, play dough masterpieces, and more! We'll use our hands, feet, and bodies in the creation of these projects. It's not your typical art class for your not so typical kid!
Important Notes: Wear clothes that can get messy. No food in class.

About the Instructor: Krista Kezziah

Krista is the mother of 3 boys. Her oldest son, Joshua, has special needs. Krista has taken courses on child brain development from the Institutes for the Achievement of Human Potential in Philadelphia, PA and has basic level certification in the DIR/Floortime therapy model. She also has a BA in Music. Krista helps lead her local autism support group and actively participates in Joshua\'s therapy. She firmly believes in the potential of every child.
