About the Instructor: Tania Humphrey

Tania is a homeschooling mother of 2 and is exited to be working with village home learners. She has earned two bachelors degrees in psychology and theology, graduating from Lewis and Clark College. Beginning about 15 years ago, she has worked in community centers, after school programs and a private school and taught many different art classes for preschool, elementary, and middle school ages. She has worked as a muralist as well as selling her own art, which she continues to focus on (painting primarily). Tania gets great joy and satisfaction facilitating children's discovery of their own unique inner artist and strives to provide a safe, encouraging and respectful environment for children to explore, experiment, and create.
